You MUST bring BOTH an Original and Copy of the following required documents:

High School Diploma/GED Certificate

Proof of residence  (utility bill)

Birth Certificate

Valid State Issued Photo ID

If you are not a U.S. citizen, please bring an unexpired Visa or Green Card

Adult Education (Satellite Location)

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES:

Applicants must be 17 years old and bring ID and proof of address.

Please bring one of the following documents:

• Current Driver’s license
• City of New Haven ID card
• Passport
• A Government ID

Bring proof of residency with YOUR NAME and current address:

• Utility Bill
• Phone Bill
• Cable Bill
• Hospital or Doctor’s letter
• Social Security or Social Services letter
• Police Records

*NO personal mail is accepted nor is a bill under another person’s name.

In order to register and participate in any of our programs, you must be 17 years of age or older. If you are under 21 years old and attended any of the New Haven Public Schools, you MUST be officially withdrawn.

• If you are 17 years old, you must bring withdrawal papers from the last school attended, and you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to meet with a counselor or facilitator.
• If you do not have withdrawal papers, you must go to your previous high school or to The New Haven Board of Education located at 54 Meadow Street.
• If you are interested in the High School Credit Program, you must bring your transcript from the last high school you attended and your withdrawal papers.
